Method of application: Direct spray as pre emergence or early post emergence of weeds on wheat crop.

Weather condition: Should be applied preferably in the morning and evening. Avoid applications during high wind and rain.Apply during clear whether condition.

Soil: Avoid use in sandy soil.

Application techniques and timings: per emergence (2 days after crop sowing) or early post emergence (10 days after crop sowing) spray.

Instructions for mixing: Required quantity of PENDIMETHALIN 35% + METRIBUZIN 3.5% SE is diluted with small quantity of water and stirred well using a stick. Then remaining quantity of water is added as per spray volume required and mixed well again by stirring.

  1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal food.
  2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  3. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. spray in the direction of wind.
  4. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after spraying.
  5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.

  8. Precautions by users:
  9. After each operation the mixing and spraying equipment is to be rinsed thoroughly with plenty of water, using a detergent or soap solution before being put to use for spraying other herbicide.
  10. Any surplus spray solution must not be disposed of in crop lands or in stagnant flowing water, where there is a possibility of polluting sources.

Precautions for use in wheat:

  1. Avoid used in sandy soil
  2. Spray on clear day
  3. Second irritation should be light and avoid stagnation of water.
  4. Avoid overlapping during application.
  5. Do not tank mix with other herbicides.
  6. Do not broadcast. It should be sprayed at optimum concentration with flood jet/flat fan nozzles.

 

Headache, giddiness, nausea, vomiting, sweating, excessive lacrimation, salivation, allergic manifestation, nervousness, anxiety, tremor, spasticity in muscles.

1. The packages containing the herbicide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises, away from the room or premises used for storing other articles or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of herbicide.
2. The room or premises meant for storing the herbicide shall be well lit, dry, well ventilated and of sufficient dimension to avoid contamination with vapor.

First Aid :

  1. If ingestion: If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induced vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician.
  2. If inhaled:Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, preferably with mouth breathing. consult a physician.
  3. In case of skin contact: Wash with soap and plenty of water. If pain,redness or irritation persists consult a doctor.All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use.
  4. In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persists. Consult eye specialist.

Antidote : No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically
